Fabric is not one-size-fits-all. The fabric that makes a beautiful curtain will not survive a year on a sofa. The lining that works in a bedroom will not hold up to a Cypriot summer on a terrace. Here is what we carry and where each fabric does its best work.
Upholstery Fabrics
Heavy-duty woven fabrics designed to stand up to daily use on sofas, armchairs and dining chairs. Available in natural fibres such as linen, cotton and wool, as well as synthetics and performance blends that resist wear and staining. The fabric that has to work hardest, and lasts longest when chosen properly.USE IT FOR: SOFAS, ARMCHAIRS, DINING CHAIRS, HEADBOARDS, OTTOMANS.
Curtain Fabrics
Lightweight to medium-weight woven fabrics designed for hanging and drape. Available in sheers, printed cottons, velvets, linens and structured wovens. The fabric you choose for a curtain shapes the whole character of a room, which is why it deserves more thought than most people give it.USE IT FOR: CURTAINS, ROMAN BLINDS, SOFT FURNISHINGS.
Outdoor and Weather-Resistant Fabrics
Fabrics engineered for outdoor exposure: UV-resistant, waterproof or water-repellent, and mould-resistant. Suitable for garden furniture, awnings, pergola coverings and outdoor cushions. If you have ever had outdoor cushions fade, crack or go mouldy after one Cypriot summer, this is the fabric that solves that problem. All our outdoor fabrics are UV-resistant and rated for sun protection in Mediterranean conditions.USE IT FOR: GARDEN FURNITURE, OUTDOOR CUSHIONS, AWNINGS, PERGOLA SHADE.
Blackout and Lining Fabrics
Technical fabrics bonded or woven to block light, add weight and improve thermal performance. Used as interlining or lining in curtains and blinds. The difference between a curtain that just hangs and one that actually works in a bedroom is usually the lining.USE IT FOR: CURTAIN AND BLIND LININGS, NURSERIES, BEDROOMS, MEDIA ROOMS.

A few things people often ask us
Upholstery fabrics are heavier and more durable, engineered to withstand daily friction and wear on furniture surfaces. Curtain fabrics are designed for drape and light filtration rather than physical contact, so they are typically lighter and more fluid. Using curtain fabric for upholstery, or vice versa, will usually give poor results over time. If you are not sure which you need, come and see us and we will point you in the right direction.
Yes. Our online store lets you browse our curtain fabric collection and order made-to-measure curtains directly. If you would like to see the full range of upholstery, curtain and outdoor fabrics in person first, both our Limassol and Nicosia showrooms carry the complete collection.
Yes, and we chose them specifically with Cyprus in mind. All our outdoor fabrics are rated for UV exposure and high temperatures. Most are also water-repellent or waterproof and treated to resist mould and mildew, which matters particularly in a coastal or humid environment.
Blackout fabric is a technical lining material that blocks light, adds thermal insulation and improves the acoustic performance of a curtain or blind. It is typically used as an interlining sewn into the curtain, or as a backing on a roller blind. Available in varying degrees of opacity from dim-out, which reduces but does not eliminate light, to full blackout.
